About the Role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with expertise in Azure DevOps to streamline code management, automate deployments, and optimize release pipelines for Salesforce and .NET applications. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring seamless code deployment for our client’s new e-commerce initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce and .NET applications using Azure DevOps.
• Automate deployment processes for Salesforce code (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components) and .NET services hosted in Azure.
• Manage version control and branching strategies to align with project needs.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing and quality checks into the release pipelines.
• Ensure security and compliance best practices in Azure DevOps code repositories.
• Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues, pipeline failures, and system outages.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to manage Azure resources and environments.
• Monitor and optimize build and release processes to improve speed and reliability.
• Document deployment strategies and pipeline configurations for internal knowledge sharing.
• Ensure seamless integration between Azure DevOps and Salesforce environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, with a strong focus on Azure DevOps for managing code repositories and release pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce development lifecycle (SFDX, Metadata API) and .NET application deployments.
• Proficiency in PowerShell, YAML, and scripting languages for automation.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD best practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex deployment issues.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Azure DevOps certifications and Salesforce DevOps experience are highly preferred.
• Security-first mindset in DevOps processes and deployments.
