We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic professional to join our team as a Market Insights Analyst. In this global role, you will report to the Global Market Insights and Digital Director and play a pivotal role in data analytics. Your expertise in pharmaceutical data analytics will be crucial for driving impactful strategies and tactics.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, health economics, statistics, data science or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in marketing analysis within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry (minimum 3 years).
  • Experience in effectively managing large multi-country healthcare professional primary/secondary market research projects leading to increasing knowledge and insights to drive revenues performance. Strategy Consulting experience is a plus.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think analytically and develop effective business strategies.
  • CRM and Databases: Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and databases relevant to the pharmaceutical industry
  • Very strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels and clearly communicate data outputs and actionable insights.
  • Competence in managing large datasets and utilizing data analytics tools.
  • Experience with data (e.g. IQVIA, Komodo, formulary and pharmacy data, Euromonitor, Global data, Pharma 14) and analytics (Excel) and visualization (e.g. QLIK, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Fluency in English; additional European languages are highly desirable.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to travel as required for the role.

Responsibilities:

Contribute to designing and implementing the Global Medison Market Insights platform and governance to ensure that regional heads and local country commercial teams are equipped to drive local research in alignment with the overall Medison global strategy. Support in ensuring thorough insights reporting design, development and maintenance as well as managing all data related to Medison’s brands. This role will also collaborate with Key Account Management & Field Force Excellence as well as Brand Planning and Alliance Management colleagues.

Data Collection and Analysis:

  • Gather data from various sources such as market research, competitor analysis, and sales reports.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to uncover market trends and customer needs.

Competitive Intelligence: Monitor competitors' activities, product launches, marketing strategies, and market positioning. Gather and analyze data from industry reports, market publications, and competitive intelligence sources.

Data Interpretation: Analyze and interpret complex data from different departments such as F&PA, SFE, Tech Ops., Market Access to support strategic decision-making and identify growth opportunities.

  • Create global insights by compiling, analyzing, and sharing data through period reporting to help identify and characterize growth opportunities and assess our company’s position on the market (incl. competitive analysis and market trends and dynamics).
  • Implementation of best practices in fact-based insights generation and knowledge management

Trend Analysis and Forecasting:

  • Identify and analyze market trends, customer behaviors and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities, and potential risks.
  • Develop forecasts and predictive models to support business planning and strategy.

Reporting & Data Usage and Dissemination

  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on market insights for internal stakeholders, including senior management, Commercial Planning and Alliance Management, commercial and medical teams.
  • Develop dashboards and reports using visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) so that it is easily accessible to end-users.
  • Communicate complex data and insights in a clear and actionable manner

Technology and Tools Utilization

  • Utilize advanced analytics tools and databases to gather and analyze market data.
  • Stay updated on the latest technologies and methodologies in data analysis.

Collaboration: close cross-functional collaboration that ensures market insights drive informed decisions across all aspects of the business.
