About the role:

About the role:

We are seeking a Backend Engineer (Infrastructure) at an intermediate level (equivalent to Google L4-L5) to develop, maintain, and deploy backend systems. This role involves working primarily with Flask (transitioning to FastAPI), MySQL, Docker, and Docker Compose. You will also leverage Amazon infrastructure (EC2 and various AWS services) and CI/CD pipelines.

Position Requirements:

· At least 3 years of hands-on development experience

· Experience developing data-oriented products using Java/Python - Must

· Experience in data processing FW such as Spark, Pandas, Hadoop, Airflow

· Experience in Distributed Databases (Such as Elasticsearch, Mongo, Redis, etc)

· Experience with developing microservices-based architecture

· Experience working in container-based environments using tools such as K8s, helm

· Experience working as a software developer in an Agile environment

Nice to have:

·Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain backend services using Flask/FastAPI.

· Manage relational databases (e.g., MySQL) in an AWS environment.

· Containerize and orchestrate applications using Docker and Docker Compose.

· Collaborate on infrastructure-related tasks in AWS, including EC2 and other Amazon services.

· Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment.

· Create and document straightforward APIs, ensuring reliability and scalability.

· Work with Flask-Gunicorn-Nginx setups and associated tooling.

· Utilize Amazon SNS/SQS for messaging and communication needs.

Position Requirements:

· Proficiency in Flask/FastAPI server development and deployment.

· Experience with relational databases (MySQL) in AWS.

· Familiarity with Docker, Docker Compose, and Flask-Gunicorn-Nginx.

· Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

· Experience with Postman for API testing.

· Working knowledge of Amazon SNS/SQS or similar messaging services.

· Strong backend infrastructure skills and ability to handle production environments.

Nice to have:

· Exposure to additional AWS services (e.g., Lambda, CloudWatch, RDS).

· Experience with microservices architecture.

· Basic understanding of load balancing and scaling strategies.
