Job Description
As a Senior Staff Engineer for Analog Layout, you will be responsible for a team developing IC Layouts for leading edge mixed signal Integrated circuits for automotive application.

In your new role you will:

• Own work-package planning including effort estimation
• Be a key contributor in defining chip floorplan and area estimation
• Interface with analog design both local and from other sites
• Perform block layout by placement and routing of electrical devices according to schematic
• Develop top layout for analog, mixed-signal IC circuits
• Consider boundary conditions related to matching , wire-sizing , parasitics , etc
• Perform physical verification (LVS, DRC checks)
• Interface with the mask house
• Use state-of-the-art CAD tools offering support in advanced techniques to optimize performance of layout development
• Generate bonding diagrams
  

Your Profile
With a strong work ethic and solid commitment to quality, you consistently deliver outstanding results, fulfilling your tasks with precision and dedication. Your exceptional communication skills enable you to seamlessly collaborate with cross-functional teams worldwide, facilitating efficient and effective product development.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• University Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field
• Advanced knowledge in electronics or semi-conductor technology, layout of analog, mixed-signal IC circuits
• At least 6 years of experience in the semiconductor industry
• Advanced knowledge with electronics and UNIX/LINUX environment
• Great Skills acquired by previous usage of various CAD tools (e.g. L-Edit, VirtuosoXL, Virtuoso Layout Editor, Orcad, Allegro, Protel, CADSTAR, P-CAD, Mentor Graphics)
• Fluency in English
