Job Description


Reporting to the Treasurer, the Treasury Assistant will take on a supporting role, particularly assisting with cash management, reporting, SOX treasury controls and other treasury-related ad hoc projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Treasurer and Senior Treasury Analyst with specific cash management aspects:
  • Collate information from the BUs and produce the monthly cash forecast for the Group.
  • Understand, analyse and be able to confidently provide treasury approval for the daily balances report prior to it being sent to senior management each day.
  • Assist the Treasurer and Senior Treasury Analyst with various cash management projects, including opening and closing bank accounts, understanding the Group’s cyclical cash needs, etc.

SOX treasury controls:

  • Assist with compliance with SOX treasury controls.
  • Document procedures of SOX compliance.

Assist with the various documentation requirements for KYC, internal loan agreements, agreements with external counterparties and other ad hoc projects.

Assist with the review the monthly intercompany AP reconciliation:

  • Identify and suggest payment of intercompany balances.
  • Identify and suggest netting of intercompany balances, where permitted.
  • Help identify opportunities for dividend payments

Assist with the monthly intercompany loan interest calculations.
Create and maintain treasury procedures documents.

FX rates review:

  • Prepare documents for monthly FX variance review.
  • Review and report on FXLoader upload failures into Oracle.
  • Assist with the management of the Group’s credit cards and virtual cards programmes.
  • Assist with electronic banking platform administration for the various platforms used by the Group.
  • Assist with producing monthly treasury reporting.
  • Provide cover for the Senior Treasury Analyst.
  • Provide support for other support functions and the business in general.


Qualifications
  • Studying or holding Finance / Accounting / Treasury qualification or alternative relevant financial background.
  • Understanding of fundamentals of international finance function and experience of practical application in a global enterprise.
  • Independent worker that demonstrates good judgment and analytical abilities and has experience working in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to interact with a broad range of individuals
  • Highly dedicated with a positive attitude, self-motivated, a team player who takes initiative
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong interpersonal skills; the ability to identify, network with and manage key stakeholders, building and maintaining effective working relationships
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple and complex tasks
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines without compromising attention to detail
