Are You the JavaScript Maestro We're Looking For?

As a JavaScript Developer at WestLink, you'll lead the charge in developing both front-end and back-end components using JavaScript, Node.js, and related technologies. You'll craft efficient, modular, and reusable code, optimize applications for speed and scalability, and actively contribute to the design and architecture of software systems. If you have strong proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, React) and back-end development, excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Maintain Applications: Create efficient, modular, and reusable code using JavaScript, Node.js, and related technologies.
• Lead Best Practices: Ensure code quality for both front-end and back-end components.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with front-end and other developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Implement Robust APIs: Design and implement APIs for effective data exchange between the front-end and back-end components.
• Optimize Applications: Enhance overall application performance for maximum speed and scalability.
• Participate in Code Reviews: Engage in and lead code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
• Stay Updated with Technologies: Keep abreast of trends in the JavaScript ecosystem and contribute insights.
• Write and Maintain Documentation: Document code, APIs, and processes for clarity.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience as a JavaScript Developer with a strong portfolio.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, React), and Node.js. Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, version control (e.g., Git), and databases (SQL and NoSQL).
• Problem-Solving and Communication: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent teamwork, and communication abilities.
• Main Stacks: Front End: React; Back End: Node.JS or Nest.JS; Framework: Typescript.
• Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, eager to learn, fluent in English, available to work in GMT+3/2, familiar with Git flow and JIRA, and possess a friendly, collaborative attitude.
