Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in design of fixturing and tooling for manufacturing processes (turning, milling, drilling, punching, EDM, welding), to join our team. This role involves designing and optimizing tooling and fixturing for current and new products, with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop design solutions for tooling and fixturing using CAD software, in close collaboration with the process engineer
- Prepare and maintain documentation, including execution drawings, BOMs, specifications
- Assure functionality and resolve issues for fixtures performance, durability or production needs
- Select appropriate materials for fixture construction considering factors like cost, strength and machinability
- Participate in cost estimations for fixtures projects, suggesting methods to reduce expenses without compromising quality
- Use analytical thinking and technical skills to address challenges, proposing solutions with guidance and leveraging internal resources.
- After training, implement lean manufacturing principles, such as SIX SIGMA, to improve processes and train personnel.
- Involvement in improvement and cost reduction projects.
Required Qualifications
- Profound experience in fixture design or similar role within the manufacturing sector
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software (2D and / or 3D).
- Knowledge of GT&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Strong understanding of CNC machining and other manufacturing processes
- Fluent in Romanian and communicative English.
