Slow and easy

Part time work in EC is slow and easy. Pay is NOT good. If you like easy-going, this is for you. Full time positions do way better but may be hard to get one unless you have a good reference or have part-timed for a few months.

Good experience

Very good experience for being right out of college. Not an office job, but hours are tracked by an app. Very high quotas that are attainable based on the market. Overall great training program

Ok place to work

Was a good place to work at first. I went above and beyond to basically not be treated right. They play favorites and it’s predominantly woman so with that comes lots of drama. Would recommend staying to yourself!

dedicated and inviting workplace

I am new but in just the few weeks i've been training I feel very welcomed and comfortable. Reynolds & Reynolds makes a point to make sure you do not feel overwhelmed in your first few weeks and take training at a deliberate and easy pace. which makes learning more fun and less stressful

Bureaucratic Hamster Wheel

Departments differ, but for the most part, the work is meaningless and monotonous, the red tape is suffocating, and the management is pompous and domineering, made up of buffoonish sycophants. Again, not all departments or management in those departments are the same, but if you throw a rock at a Reynolds, you're bound to hit a draconian clown. Even some of the better supervisors/managers are made worse by their fear of being fired and/or their puppy-like desire to please their bosses.I don't think I've met anyone here who truly enjoys their work. Everyone is collecting a paycheck and trying not to get fired. It's not a way to live a life.My advice? Take the job if you need one, then spend every free moment you have working on an alternative path, whether that's bolstering your resume for better job, writing a book, starting a business, etc. Don't get complacent and don't get used to be miserable.

This a temporary job, run when you can

They always have listings for the same positions for a reason. No one wants to stay here. The pay is awful, management is clueless, the hours are no good, and the opportunities are slim.

Felt like a prison

Very controlling place to work, it felt like a prison. It was a very depressing place to be be. They track you every where you go and force you to eat at their cafeteria.

Good experience

You can go into this company with the willingness to learn and get ahead. Reynolds and Reynolds gives good benefits and the salary may be low compared to others but you will gain a lot of experience here to further your career.

Toxic management and poor training

I was hired to be a 2nd shift production assistant, but was placed on 1st shift indefinitely due to staffing shortages. Management did not train me properly or give me what I needed to be successful at my job. Only benefit was pay, which was not great but was competitive in terms of unskilled labor.

Stressful and underpaid.

What is the best part of working at the company?The best part was being able to listen to music while working.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Being treated like a child. You are required to get permission and wait for approval to take a break, go to lunch and bathroom breaks. You are on camera for the entire shift unless you earn the privilege of not being on camera. It was very aggravating and stressful for the amount of pay $13. I thought not having to be on the phones was going to be less stressful but they ask a lot from you for that little bit of pay as well as being on camera all day and being treated like a child asking for permission. I just couldn't do it! Felt like being in prison.What is the work environment and culture like at the company?It really felt like prison. Having to ask and then waiting for permission to use the bathroom as well as breaks and lunch. You literally had to wait for a supervisor to stop chats from coming to you in order to sign out and take a break. When you came back from a break you had to verbally let it be known you were back as well as typing it in chat. Just to much for $13What is a typical day like for you at the company?Stressful. Chatting with at least 3 customers from the time you clock in till the time you clock out. None stop.

Mediocre company with mediocre pay

What they expect you to know for $45,000-$52,000 as an IT associate would get you at least $65,000 at other jobs. The managers are dictators who often seem clueless. Since you're on salary for nine hours per day, they pay you about as much as a package handler. Because of that, I moved on.

Management are bully’s and only cater to those that are social butterflies. Low pay. No Human Resource Department on premises. Discrimitive and not trustworthy.

Fine summer job

They pay pretty well and is fine for the short term but wouldn't want to work there much longer than a summer. Varies by department on how tough management is if it will be a chill place to work. The place feels depressing for the full timers

Love the people, management not great

The people at the company completely make the job. Management doesn't really listen to feedback or concerns. Sometimes feel undervalued and not appreciated.

The only good thing to say is that it's a good starter job.

This company seems to have it figured out that after 2 years they no longer make money off of you, and they don't care what you do. The pay is below average for every department based on my conversations. There is a lack of respect for certain roles, and they have the old mindset of caring more about tenure than actual performance. They honestly are stuck in the past as they've called marketing "a necessary evil," so really it's hard to feel comfortable here. The only good things I can say about it is that I've met great people, and it at least gave me some job history and a bit of experience.

Cube farm with great benefits

Entry pay is low and raises are small. The benefits package is excellent, but it does not make up for the poor pay. Little room to move up without transferring in and out of departments again and again. Giant company, but very drab and boring day-to-day.

Solid starting job, lots of turnover

The job was not for me but could be for others who enjoy a cooperate office environment. Easy job, but will have way too much downtime. Pay is alright and is good for experience but outside of that would not recommend unless you are someone who is trying to get experience specifically in technical writing and need a first job.

Lots of freedom, can be good and bad

Training is great and you have a lot of time to figure out which sales role fits you best. Lots of daily travel and time spent on the road which can get tiring. Wish there was more direction from upper management. Lots of "figure it out as you go"
