Fresher friendly job. Decent platform to start career.

Seniors are very supportive. Work culture is nice. Salary is moderate. However, Tech Mahindra is a really nice platform to start a career. The seniors including trainer, Team Leaders are very helpful and cooperative. Overall a nice experience as a fresher.

It’s a job to keep you alive.

What is the best part of working at the company?Working from home and extra quiet as you are dealing with clients on live chat instead of on the phone.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Severely underpaid, not enough incentives, you have to do shift work (anytime between 7am and 12am midnight) and work holidays. Also, the system tools and software are 20 years out of date, finicky and can give problems anytime you turn your computer to log in and log off.What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Decent, somewhat helpful, but slow-responding.What is a typical day like for you at the company?Boring, monotonous and lonely.

Worst company to work

Shift timing changed every week. Unqualified team leaders and managers. Behave with employees like a prisoner, forced to work on week offs, hard to take daily breaks, forced to do extra login hours of 30 to 45 min daily basis. Team leader marks random LOPs if you argue with them for your basic rights. Worst management.

Good place to work...have to be very vigilant enough for what you do while working...the more focus you are the more you earn incentives...you just have to be good with whatever you do.

Training had no correlation to what we had to deal with on the phones was basically just thrown in the deep end and had to learn on the job so basically wasted 2 months training

Doesn't Pay People Correctly

I worked for tech mahindra for a year and a half in an outsourced call centre for a telecommunications service provider. During that time they continually messed up payroll, money in the hundreds of pounds would be missing and it would take months for money to be reimbursed. Sometimes you would be sent the money for it to be taken out again the next payroll in an accounting error, the problem then starting all over again. This happened to more or less everybody who worked there repeatedly, it's the only place I've ever worked where payday was a something that people dreaded. I know several people who have been to a tribunal with them regarding this issue, however it was never resolved in the long term when I was there. I met a lot of good people but the company is genuinely kind of dodgy and the payroll issue was typical of how the company operated in every way. I learnt a lot and have managed to use the experience to get something better but I would warn anybody about working for this company as the constant pay issues can be very stressful.

It was my first job so according to that it was overall a good experience. Seniors were supportive and some were arrogant too.. It's just as like wherver you go you will find some good people & some bad too..

Had to go on antidepressants to cope

I worked there for 8 months in 2022 and its safe to say its the job that made me realise that I dont want to be under that kind of pressure ever again. The managers are doing their best under the circumstances... however the work place environment is about as interesting as a cardboard box. Noone knows whats going on. one day youll be on the fifth floor next youre being shipped off to another building. Theres not stability cus it would be a miracle if you get paid properly. I didnt get my bonus even though I was there for 6 months. I would recommend working there for a start up but long term? Prepare to lose your will to live.

Productive, Fun, Stressful

It was great until the account's management where I am currently in, changed the management. I do not like our team leader, so unprofessional. Salary is fast and some small disputes. People are friendly. Good for newbie. 4 years and 6 mos.

Good company however there are some disputes with the pay. Good for newbie. Good environment as well. Nice wfh set up for logistic account and has a wifi allowance.

Fun Workplace

They give low salaries though it is fun to work with your colleagues because will help you if you're struggling with your work, they will give you instant Sick leave or Vacation leave.

The average staff last just over 4 months

There is no discernible career advancement within the company, and employee turnover rates are alarmingly high, with an average staff tenure of just over four months. Many managers lack competence in their roles, using arbitrary reasons to terminate employees and implementing unusual rules, such as prohibiting aerosol deodorants in the workplace. Instead of providing training and guidance, managers frequently scapegoat staff for minor errors. Additionally, I once came across an email from a high-ranking individual at TechM referring to employees as easily replaceable.

Inconsistent management

Changes are constant in this line of work however, making this changes every week would cause confusion to every employee no matter how flexible you are as a person. The management itself is not callibrated with the information dispersed. Handful of good leaders but would leave the company due to inadequate compensation. Overtime were not paid if you are with the same ranks as leader "because you are a leader" reason. Good training ground for newbies but not a good company to settle if you want a long term job. Disputes on payroll is very rampant, even this has already been escalated, the pay would get delayed or not received at all. Company has no empathy with the employees and don't have the heart to appreaciate.
