they will waste all your time and resources

i worked for them for a year, made good $$, then there was a shift in company, all the recruiters are so young and green, they never get you anything, i must have spent 6-10 hrs on their "tests" ie time wasters when i could be a productive engineer, now i run a business in a completely different industry, i was a developer for over 30,000 hrs starting in the 80s, and they failed to get me anything, but if your 18 with 0 experience you can be a systems architect, they seem to have no problem giving kiddos the jobs us men who are trying to raise families deserve. out of the 10 years ive tried to use them they only got me hired 1x. i have hundreds of thousands of users pulling my github repos as well go fig.

Very Unhelpful and Unloyal

This company ended a contract and then didn't help me with another contract. They left me high and dry with no explanation. Bad company priorties and they don't call you back. They work you until the last minute and then let you go and that's it fter that. Don't really recommend working with them.

All about billable hours

Not very supportive. Some people less than transparent. Pay was was good and the job was uneventful. It was basically another corporate job where I felt like a cog.

Great Employers

They are very communicative and will even just check in on you to see how you’re doing. If I ever need help I know they’ll take care of it very quickly as best as they can. Overall a great company to work for by far!

Work from home

Good company if you like to work from home. Weekly pay, however hard to get straight answers. No real support as they are a temp/contract employer. If you want to work from home, this would be a good way to do it.

Identity Crisis

TEKsystems is a staffing company that pretends to be a full on IT services consulting company... Need to stick to what they're good at and quit trying to pretend be something they're not.

Horrible

I would not recommend this company the pay is horrible no room of advancement and the pay is horrible. HR department is unreliable and they never answer the phones to assist.

Love working hereCulture is great and co workers care about well being. Good base pay and good commission structure. Technology is moving forward for sure

Its OK

I work an evening shift take it with a grain of salt. The Job itself is ok, but some of the users you need to speak with will make you question if god is even real and why he hates you in that particular moment.

None all good. Basic got to be learned. Basically you do lot of work and get paid in peanuts. But everything is compensated if you enjoy what you are doing.

Challenging but rewarding workplace

It’s a grind. Get ready to smile and dial. If you don’t have experience, this is an awesome job to get some training straight out of college. It’s hard to imagine doing agency recruiting as a career though

Definitely a good place to work, they will teach you the skills you need to be a great technician for the project! Good communication with managers. I will definitely work with them again

Overall support has been 95% excellent.

What is the best part of working at the company?TEKsystems has been an excellent recruiting service. I've been with them for almost 2 years. The only issue is they will not fly me home for visits. Other companies will (GT Tek).What is the most stressful part about working at the company?The expense reports. I'm not getting reimbursed on my expenses in a timely manner and not all my expenses are being reimbursed. I have to make numerous phone calls to get paid fully.What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Good. Everyone I have had interaction with at Teksystems has been extremely professional.What is a typical day like for you at the company?I don't work at Teksystems. I work as a contractor by Teksystems.

Worst place to work

This is scam company to work for, they seem/look professional. Down the line, pay is low, management is horrible. Work hours high every time, they ask you to work long hours for less pay.

Good Impression

So far my time here has been good. The company has continued to extend my contract past the initial decided date and they help me work through tricky situations with the project compant.

0 out 5 stars would recommend from my own personal experience. I spent 3 months doing nothing (literally was making any spreadsheet I could to keep sanity) and when my manager finally saw fit to give me work, it took four days before I was sent to HR for continuously making mistakes and causing customer escalation, after a week of training & no customer interaction.

Extremely frustrating - former contractor - NUMEROUS unreturned messages in past 2 years

Regarding Jacksonville, FL office...Worked with quite a few recruiters.I would actually say they were above average in my experience working with these agencies.In 2020, I worked a very difficult short-term contract and did an excellent job.I have called NUMEROUS times in the past 2 years and left a message indicating my availability and desire to speak with a recruiter. No one ever answers. No one ever returns the call.Extremely frustrating.(Exact same issue with their sister site Aerotek.)So disgusting how inefficiently these organizations are run.Would be nice if whatever high-payed executive is responsible for this branch could maybe do some work once in a while and address this ongoing issue. Crazy. I alone could have done numerous jobs.

Very little notice (4 days ) when my contact ended. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?I worked remotely but had the support I needed.
