In office employees were great to be around.

The majority of people working at Genesis10 are seasoned professionals. The people in the office I worked at were great to be around. All employees are contractors so the benefits are not that great, but you were treated as a professional and not micromanaged.

Great Place to work

Awesome Place to work. This was a nice contracting agency good management and very helpful when needed. They were awesome in finding me a job quickly.

Not a bad job

I took this job fairly fresh out of college for not other reason than I needed a job. While I was not able to find my dream job here, I was certainly accepted and well trained while I learned what I could to help me in future job searches.

Fast pace environment, opportunity to learn best practices

A typical day began at 7:30a, with alot of meetings,little time for lunch breaks; most resources work out of national delivery centers on contract basis.

Worst company I’ve ever been apart of.

Management gets more & incompetent the further up the chain you go. Zero long term planning seem to go into projects. Communication is an afterthought as opposed to a principle. HR is negligent & not a trusted group of people to come to with issues.

They recognize and appreciate hard work. Client is very demanding; but very good to recognize those who are able to make or exceed their expectations.

Excellent Work Environment

Genesis 10 has locations throughout the US that any employee can work from. Although they want to conform to the clients requested work location, there are options to work from home in event of weekend or week night work. Locations are also very professional and clean.

Worked for them as a contractor

I was hired as a contractor to a different company. I can't speak to what it's like to work for Genesis10 directly since I did not work for them in my day-to-day. They were however very attentive to my contract and their HR department was always quick to answer any questions or concerns that I had.

Great management

Great management and ability to work remotely. Great work/home balance. Co-workers are a great collaborate team willing to go the extra mile for the company. Overall, great place to work for.

Good Company

Good company. They give you good rates. Training and other support are hard to come by. I just like the fact that they work on getting you a decent rate.

Glad I worked there

I am glad that I accepted an interview for a job they contacted for. They treat their contractors very well. They met for free lunches two to four times a year and talked to you to see how you are doing.

Waymo

It was a temporary service working for WAYMO. It was actually really cool. Loved the culture, the attitude of everyone, the driving course we attended at the race track. It was cool.

Wouldnt recommend to anybody

Company throws you in the fire with no lead or direction. Wouldn't call it entry level. No communication or reason for specific things. But if you know what you are doing you should do fine.

Hiring team doesnt know how to find talented individuals. Most people doesnt come from computer backgrounds so they are clueless when put into job position. Imagine someone who comes through a 2 year program and still cant identify the differences between java and javascript.

Genesis 10 review

My position with Genesis 10 was as a project manager for Back of America, I had as many as 8 projects at one time and was the lead project site manager also. I was very impressed with the caliber od people they hired to work with and enjoyed the work very much.

Summary

This company really cares about all of their employees and treats them with respect which in some cases is more important than a high Salary. The pay is great and they value innovation and ideas from all. This is truly a wonderful work environment, collaborative and successful.

Great Place to Make a Career

I've found Genesis10 to be a great place to make a career. In the staffing industry, that can be rare where the norm is companies push out recruiters the minute something goes wrong. Genesis10 has been so patient as I've gone through different life scenarios and, in return, I feel like they've gotten the best out of me. Average to top performers in recruiting are paid well. Collaboration across offices is improving. It's a competitive environment, but in a healthy way (not cut-throat.) In my opinion, it's one of the better staffing companies to work for.

Genesis 10

Genesis 10 is a Project manager pool very similar to a secretary pool. Specialization or career advancement is not to be expected. There is a conflict between the delivery framework of the client and that of Genesis 10. G-10 has not hardened its processes and standards to meaningfully engage the client and move them towards optimizing the work product.

Alright place to work; Wouldn't Work there again

The HR department needs to be more straightforward with their employees. They seem to be unwilling to make accommodations for employees with disabilities. However, working for their client was enjoyable. Everyone there was friendly and very helpful. The hardest part of the job was when the call center would get very busy and it was hard to take back to back calls without a short break.
