The majority of people working at Genesis10 are seasoned professionals. The people in the office I worked at were great to be around. All employees are contractors so the benefits are not that great, but you were treated as a professional and not micromanaged.

The people at Genesis10 make it a great place to work!

My time at Genesis10 has been quite the journey. A regular workday is all about teamwork and learning, which I find enriching. The support from management has been crucial in my personal and professional growth.Our managers are wonderful, guiding us while giving us room to shine. The work culture is diverse and inclusive, creating a friendly and vibrant atmosphere.The most challenging part is keeping up with the fast-paced nature of our industry, but that's what makes it exhilarating. But, hands down, the best part is the incredible team spirit and the satisfaction of having your hard work recognized. The people at Genesis10 make it a great place to work!

Professional and Productive Environment

Prior to accepting employment with Genesis10, I worked remote for 5 years. I was apprehensive about coming into an office after working remote for so many years. I was pleasantly surprised how much I like working in their office setting. The building is located in downtown Charlotte, which is surrounded by various restaurants and a park nearby. The shared working space is always clean and inviting. The office coordinator is very friendly and she always makes sure the consultants have what they need for their individual work spaces. I am surrounded by other consultants with various backgrounds and skills sets and being able to communicate, interpersonally with another person, is a welcomed change. I was hesitant, at first, to leave a full-time job to work a contracting assignment. However, after three months as a consultant, there is no doubt in my mind I made the right decision!

Unprofessional and Very Long Hours

You are an asset for the company to flip a profit off of. They will overwork you in training for very minimal pay. Expect 70 hours per week if you are not proficient or have some level of prior knowledge in development. Laid off immediately after conclusion of training

This has been a difficult and frustrating year for all in the tech industry. Dev10, like many others, has had to reduce head count due to market conditions. These decisions are never made lightly. We know you made a significant investment in starting your career with us and understand your frustration. Your feedback has been shared with management.

Great Learning Experience

The Dev10 Program was a great learning opportunity. I learned many tools/applications where I able to comfortably work alongside with mentors and peers.

I accidentally hit 4 stars, but this has been a 5 star experience. Through the Dev10 program I was able to begin a career in technology and have loved every minute of it.

Very Unprofessional and Disengaged

No one at this company seems to care about employees. They are just a means for Genesis 10 to receive a paycheck from the consultants. Never have I had lunch with or identified who the actual recruiter is. It's sad. It takes 2 weeks to get a response on any issues if at all. You are better off to try to get full time at a job than work for these highly unprofessional "people". They simply do not care and you cannot make them care.

Excellent opportunity to learn software development

dev10 program is amazing since it allows you to learn coding and places you in a job afterwards. However, you don't get any say in the job placement afterwards even if it's not a coding job.

The training rate and contracted wage are purposefully extremely low for the market. They will not respect your time nor you after you are placed on assignment.

Great place to grow

Genesis10 has been a wonderful place to start my recruiting career. The team and management are truly here to help you learn and grow as long as you're willing to put the work in. A typical day is always changing with new roles to work on and people to talk to. Here, I am not micro managed and can plan my day out to fit my schedule. The culture is welcoming and more of a friendly competition where we love seeing team members get wins. Hardest part of the job is keeping clients happy with quality candidates and the most enjoyable is when you get to make the call and offer a person the job.

Genesis10 has given me a positive experience from the day I started. Management provides Attainable goals that you can truly get excited about. Pay is great, flexibility is generous, and there is always someone available to provide support or guidance. Genesis10 also has a very senior team with a lot of experience, great place to recruit!

Great company, great owner

I worked at the KS location. They had great sales and recruiting staff. Everyone was professional, hard working, and team players. The company overall has a great culture nation wide. Genesis10 offers a lot of work life balance and has always gone above and beyond to create an excellent diverse team and accommodate various cultures and religions. The CEO of the company is very involved with all of his team members across the country, and treats everyone with respect and kindness. This is by far one of the best companies I have ever had the pleasure of working for. I would not hesitate to work for them again as a contractor or as an employee.

Bleak experience as a programmer

I was unhappy in my role. When I raised concerns they were belittled. In the end, I was let go without warning. I think management could benefit from trying to find solutions that work for them and for the employee. It would boost productivity and moral in the end.

Not run by human beings

It's all about productivity and nothing else, unfortunately. Otherwise, I would have loved this job. I would caution anyone who enjoys job security from working with them.

A day of work was very productive , that was my dream job ! Excellent culture . The hardest part of the job was finish a successful cutover in the middle of the next morning .

A place to find a career, not just a job

IT Staffing is tough industry for recruiters and sales, often with unrealistic expectations & high turnover. Genesis10 bucks the trend. For recruiters, they invest heavily in ever job board, the best ATS, training, etc. They are not a body shop; they care about their employees and treat them like people, not a number or metric. It's a place where you can be surrounded by competent, hard-working colleagues who care about their consultants and their clients. There is room for growth - most all of the management and executive teams have been promoted from within. It's a company that offers work-life balance. Everyone works hard, but everyone is expected to be there for their family or be able to have the flexibility to enjoy their passions. The average tenure for recruiters is 5+ years and for sales is 7+ years - it's a place where one can enjoy a career instead of being stuck in a job-hopping state that is so prevalent in IT Staffing.
