The upper management is confused and confusing as to the direction of the company. Changes are proposed without consulting the people actually performing the processes. The middle management is to be appreciated, they are wonderful people that are not heard when voicing their concerns. The work is not difficult but there is no room to grow past the team leader role.
Fresh fruits twice per week, great middle management
No company culture, the department in charge of making decisions is clueless regarding the actual work
My experience in DB Schenker is awesome, the only problem is that you can't advance in positions even if you are very good at what you do, because they usually don't accept to change their manager's or team leader's unless they leave the company. And when a manager leaves the company, unfortunately, they prefer to hire someone from another company instead of gave the position to a person who is already in the company.
I enjoyed so much to enter in this “world” of programs and to accumulate such a good information about computers and stuff. Even we work only in programs like SAP or SEMA etc. I learned a lot of things about all the sistem in general and all the programs that they use there and even more about computers in general.
Good Company to work in. Fair and transparent as to company policies and regulations. In-house training and workshops. Overall nice environment, good perks in order for the employees to relax (games room, sleeping room, massage chairs etc) German style less flexible and programmatic development down to the detail make the company sluggish in adopting new ideas and putting them into practice. Too many procedures to respect and guides to be met.
Nice environment, safe company
Sluggish, too rigid
* To much administrative tasks, such as contracts, invoicing as my job description was 80% as content creator and not administrative assistant. - a typical day at work * I learned to be more organized, not to take things personal, and always be open to new challenges. Also learned 2 new softwares: ECM, ODM.- what I learned * Open to creative ideas, but not willing to also implement. - management *Fun and young, smart and selfless - co - workers *Doing the administrative tasks because we had a lot of internal rules which were slowing down the results. - the hardest part of the job *Organizing and participating at the customer events, writing the internal newspaper, press releasese and articles. - the most enjoyable part of th job
A lot of trainings if asked for.
Not open to new ideas and too much bureaucracy.
I worked in a great company like a fork-lift truck driver, main duties were: unloading and loading high good vehicles in a safe way ,positioning on destinations goods in a safe area, unloading of international containers, cargo reception, preparation customer goods on order, scanning and inventory of them, placing goods on truck weight, loading and unloading fragile goods in a safe way , maintenance and cleaning of equipment work order and cleanliness in the warehouse. The hardest part of the job wasen't because I loved my job and the enjoyable part was the team building period and the overtimes.
