Positive Outlook I have been working at Cognizant Technology Solutions full-time (More than 3 years) Pros lots of opportunities available in many different fields and locations Cons while still working for a company as a cognizant consultant, you are still required to do a bunch of side tasks and shenanigans for cognizant. Luckily if you do a good job the client will treat you very good. Advice to Management make the environment more diverse, i know its a company mainly owned by guys from India, but don't forget that the US is a very diverse country and promotes diversity, meaning employing people from different countries

Fun workplace

Will get half of the regular pay for overtime.Work life balance is good.Payrate is not good.Other then pay everything is fine during my 1 year experience.

Good

Fun place to work with some wonderful people around. Faced with some gripping work challanges which pushed me to learn and move into new roles and help me develop into a better professional.Amgen gave me an opportunity to explore a new technology which helped me acquire a new skillset and was equally supportive at all times. And, I was appreciated for the work which was done on the project deliverable.

Great benefits and perks for tenured and newbie folks. I think it's just not ao accessible for everyone especially those from Marikina and other provinces since it's located in Taguig.

I love working for Cognizant

I started working in Cognizant last 2021. The management support it's employees to their full potential and the promotion are pretty straightforward. If you work hard, you will be rewarded. The benefits are superb!

I learned a lot, but in hindsight, the stress took a tremendous toll on my wellbeing and it wasn’t worth it.

What is the best part of working at the company?Many of the people I worked with were great.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Leadership lack of respect for more JR associates, misogyny, favoritism. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?It wasn’t great. The leaders in the verticals I supported were incredibly dishonest to prospects, clients and staff. What is a typical day like for you at the company?Long, unpredictable & often projects landing in my lap at the last minute with impossible deadlines.

Productive and Fun work environment

I have worked with Cognizant for just 4 months on their project-based account. Overall the experience was good except when salary week was coming. Every salary has a dispute. Even though the Company is top-notch, HR and Finance sucks.Cognizant offers the highest base pay in the industry and they don't have a ceiling for it. They also have profit sharing twice a year and their salary increase yearly is amazing.I think Cognizant need to take a look at their HR and Finance department. Those departments will leave a bad mark on the company,Your last pay will take 2 months - which is absurd and when you reach out to their HR or Finance department they don't reply to your emails. Once they do, they will reply with a typical AI reply.

Very much balanced work life

My experience at Cognizant was highly enriching. The dynamic work environment and emphasis on continuous learning fostered significant professional growth. While occasional challenges in project communication existed, overall, the positive work culture and focus on employee well-being contributed to a fulfilling work-life balance. Having this company on your resume will hurt you!

Add cognizant innovation and a streamlined work environment is not fostered. There is persistent misaligned resources in an inability to deliver effectively to his clients. I do not recommend working for this company at all.

Good company to work for ! Benefits are not great but learning opportunities are plenty. Lot of internal mobility for growth and promotion. Not many remote opportunities.

Fun Workplace with Awesome Colleagues !

Pros: Fun workplace (GoVo), near LRT, malls. Free lunch, coffee and tea, best colleagues, pay is good too. But don’t expect lots of bonuses or increment. Not much. Work is kinda flexible, depending on project. And the best part is you’ll never bring your workloads home. (Need to add that SDM is also quite tolerant when it comes to emergency leave as long as you have valid reasons)Cons: Upper level management needs to improve including HR, some TL can be ‘racist’, selective and biased. Some likes to micromanage although work is done within the timeframe. Career growth almost non existent here. Contract basis. You’ve to go when it is time to go. Limited leaves slot.

Stressful place to work. Systems are difficult to navigate.

What is the best part of working at the company?Very scattered operation. They don't care very much for their people and how they allocate them to projects. Not a great place to work and I resigned after only 6 months.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Lack of client focus and fully remote environment.

Good place to work for. I highly recommend to join cognizant for great clients and benefits and 401k and health care benefits for employee and family .
