I don't have any problems with me, they pay decently. The only problem I do have is when you're hired they kind of drop contact with you unless you email them, and good luck trying to get a raise...

I was contracted out to another contractor so all of this would be a review of Perspecta. Very good pay, plenty of training, and anytime help is needed a supervisor was always happy to help. Apex was also very helpful whenever I needed to reach out to them as well.

Pay is decent

Pay is decent and you get paid weekly. The Monday to Friday schedule is not bad hours 7am to 330. Apex does not have any supervisors that directly work at the Mechanicsburg location so you are overseen by other contractors leads which isn’t fair to the 30 plus Apex workers who have little to know representation. If you want to reach apex directly you would contact a recruiter but good luck with that as most of them never respond when it’s a tough question, but will call you immediately if you put to many hours down.

I was a travel technician for apex and let me start by saying it was a nightmare - I wasn’t paid what the wage I asked for - The work was inconsistent and I wasn’t forwarned about that. I was told I’d work a 40 hour work week and I would randomly be taken off of projects for weeks sometimes months with no explanation or hope that I’d be sent somewhere anytime soon. No apologizes even out of courtesy. - reimbursements for food was a nightmare. Took hours and is purposely complicated so the company doesn’t have to pay you back -everyone you come to contact with whose previously worked for Apex and only bad things to say about the company and I can see why - i was randomly taken off of one project and out on another with a gap of unemployment that lasted over a month due to their negligence - when I was sent somewhere, there was no direction or purpose for being there. I would be sent to places with nothing to do and no answers from anyone expect an untrained staff who were the absolute worst people I’ve ever worked with. Do not recommend this company to anyone

Contracted to United who Terminated me Early

I was contracted to work for United Airlines by Apex Systems for a year, the interview process was very stream lined. What issues I had at United I could always bring to Apex and they would help me out. But as United hemorrhaged money during the COVID-19 crisis they ended my contract very suddenly and with zero recompense, and Apex could do nothing other than help me to move on.

USAA is tricky

If onsite at USAA, this can be tricky for contractors. Outside firms may buyout contracts causing contractors to move to another job that was not the original job intended.

Remote Support Technician (Fost angajat) - San Antonio, TX - 7 decembrie, 2019
I was pulled into the security office where the contract customer's staff made baseless aligations against me. I was told that I was being put on suspension until further investigation. At which the Apex staff told me I need to take a drug screening. When I received a negative, they acted like I was harrasing them. Rendered no assistance in finding another position. Most embarrassed I have ever been.

Easy to work for IT contractor

I started working for them on a contract while I am studying for career advancement and improvement. The company was responsive and helpful during the interview process with the client. I have no complaints about them as a company.

The recruiters went above and beyond in preparing for interview and finding the right job fit for me. They served as a buffer between employee and the client. They would periodically check up on employees. They also provided with necessary tools i.e. phone when offsite.

I had worked with Apex for a Desktop support position in a warehouse for over a year. For the first year I was contracted for this job I was only paid 15 dollars per hour. I later discovered after working with the warehouse for so long that Apex billed them for $30.50 for an entire year they made more than I the actual worker! They only offered a dollar raise after my first year. When I expressed my knowledge of the billing rate and dissatisfaction with my pay my contract was terminated.

Working with Apex Systems was a pleasure. The contract positions however do not offer much in flexibility with work life balance. So make sure you investigate the contract before you agree to it. Management was very helpful, benefits packages and Payroll systems are solid and dependable.

Working with Apex Systems was a great and exciting opportunity in which I hope to continue pursuing after a medical convalescence. Working with the San Diego Miramar MCAS team broadened my knowledge and understanding of the IT world. It also gave me the benefit of knowing if this was the career change I hoped to gain along with experience. The most important aspect of work that I've learned, not only with Apex, is that You must make yourself an asset and in doing so you become must more than a regular team player, you become a pillar.

I started out at $15/hr in California, which was not enough to even live. I worked for an entire year, before writing the director at Kaiser Permanente (where I was assigned) to list all of the work I had done in hopes of a raise. I was given a good hourly raise to $23/hour. I was not selected to be made permanent at Kaiser and moved on from the company and state.
