I enjoyed working only 15 miles away from my home. The overall environment was enjoyable. Not getting any review of my work made it hard to realize the goals of the department.

Busy and productive

Contact with Amazon for the crc was a great experience. No down time between calls but you do get breaks and a 5 minute window to use for emergency or quick breaks

Terrible

Apex is not a good temp service at all and I will never recommend anyone working here. For one they don’t properly pay you for YOUR hard earn time. Every time I turn around my check is either short or it’s always a “time discrepancy” with my hours. If you’re the employer putting us on these projects shouldn’t eight hours of work already be given to us.!? Two they don’t want to pay for the inconvenience. My work computer would not turn on one day and I reached out to apex with an incident report as well and sent it over they talking about we can’t pay you for the day due to your computer issues. Why would you not pay someone for the day for something they have no control of? Makes absolutely no sense to me. Next they lie about these projects and the job description the project that I had recently been on they told us no phones in the beginning why were on the phones! Also it always something off with my checks!

Its a job

The day is spent working entirely independent. After 7 months of working here they finally decided it was a good idea to hold quarterly meetings with upper management. They were far from completely honest with what the job description would be at time of interview, as that is NOT the job we are doing. A single 30 minute zoom meeting a week and that's it, really no workplace culture at all. When they roll out new workflows they do not involve the team in the decisions, and when they do roll out they are full of issues that need to be corrected months after. The work is so mundane and boring that it seems better suited for a college intern, than considered a professional career. No paid sick leave, expensive benefits. I would look elsewhere.

Not very organized. No actual “training” schedule when you begin the position, have to try to catch someone when they are free to show you the ropes.

CSR Fema Funeral Assistance

I didn't have the best experience at the beginning with some of the PMO team but my main supervisors/team leads were really great and made each individual on the team feel heard. Apex was very flexible but the contact after my contact project ended was disappointing. Our team was informed that they would reach out with other job opportunities through Apex in a few business days. Had to keep emailing and calling and eventually reached out to my previous supervisor for a recruiter to reach out and got assistance then. Overall would recommend working for Apex.

Flexible and works with my personal needs

I took a contract position with Apex and was really impressed with the amount of follow up I have had as well as the benefits offered. I had no idea I would have eligibility for health insurance or a 401k in a contract role. This type of project work is better for my personal needs at this time and is able to utilize my 20 years of experience in my industry.

One of the best places I have worked.

What is the best part of working at the company?Everybody at APEX that I came into contact with was very professional, friendly and helpful.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?I encountered no stress while working at APEX. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Work was remote so i was not around other APEX employees.What is a typical day like for you at the company?APEX was a placement company for a client. I had relatively few interactions with APEX during my employment, however that said, they were always available for me if/when I needed them.

Efficient

Apex was helpful in job placement. Other than matching me with a client, there was little interaction with Apex. A good place to work if you need a job.

Worse experience ever

What is the best part of working at the company?None. They hire for a few months of contract role promising that it is a long term full time opportunity. 30 people hired for the same role and a few months later everyone's contract ended. They literally lied during the hiring process. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?You'll never know if it is a temp or long term job. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Military stile. Way too many rules. They have zero emohaty and don't care about employee rights. What is a typical day like for you at the company?Bossy managent, ruling previously hired employees.

Misleading

While when you are working it is great. That is far and few days in between. I went months without work after being told during the hiring process it would maybe be "a few weeks to a month" in between projects. Enjoyable work if you actually get to go on projects. Traveling is great and being able to experience new places. However, I and many people I talked to felt mislead about what we were actually doing.

Extremely qualified and personable recruiters worked hard to place me as quickly as possible with an excellent fit.

It's okay with low benefit

Everything is greate except that they don't give you raise and the benefit is not good. No vacation, no PTo and not even getting paid for Hollidays 😅

Great Recruiter

Definitely felt as if I had a great recruiter. Thankful for them in giving me my first job back in to the workforce after my 2 long break. Unfortunately the hours contradicted my home life so I had to go. They did not allow a schedule change.

Great place to start out

Apex systems is a staffing agency with some great clients, I would vender again for them if I need, but most companies pick you up after your contract is done.

Diverse work on the move

The company gets you moving a lot and you'll be reimaging primarily. Depending on who is in charge (Leidos) a lot of mismanagement or lack of support.

I love working for them

What is the best part of working at the company?They always communicate with you good or bad. My recruiter gets back to me within five mins of emailing. They answer all questions and no one has been rude. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Not being able to get work right after finishing another assignment. Ive been laid off two and a half months still no work. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?You work from home, so it's what you make of it. Working as a Contractor

Work on a contractual basis for major tech companies. These tech companies often guide the work culture, and Apex has little say in that. Being a contractor for Apex: Pros- Fair payCons- Not a full-time job

Great support, ok benefits

The Apex team is pretty responsive and supportive whenever you need them. The hiring company is very good and it's a long term contract. The pay is also competitive. Only cons is that there is no PTO or holidays.

Great Culture & Amazing Opportunity

The company culture is top tier. Going work environment, steady income. Very metrics driven and good support. Recently with the tech layoffs, business has not been great. Corporate leadership treats you just like you’d expect from a company. There is no special cases and no matter the reason for if you’re not performing well, that doesn’t matter. Fantastic experience otherwise, but recruiting wholly depends on the business brought in and that will affect your outcome.
