I enjoyed working only 15 miles away from my home. The overall environment was enjoyable. Not getting any review of my work made it hard to realize the goals of the department.

Straightforward and simple

Apex had an easy onboarding and I get contacted about every 6 months which is nice. Expensive healthcare, the state insurance is “cheaper”, no PTO/holiday pay but the company I work at is closed so you get the days off. Lots of flexibility in current role.

Excelente ambiente laboral

Trabajo tranquilo en un excelente ambiente laboral y con oportunidades de crecimiento. Semana de 4 días y horarios de 12 hrs, con los espacios adecuados para el descanso. Bastante contento de laborar aquí.

Their company operates at bare minimum, messy and unorganized

What you are told is provided, the communication within the company is messy. Some of the upper management are unprofessional and even had certain weeks where I was not paid... the pay for that week would come later

Great Office Culture and High-Reward Opportunity

Management is excellent and they are definitely not "micromanagers," but lead and truly want you to succeed. The culture in this office is also second to none and I think it's the glue that creates a fun and successful environment for everyone. You MUST be willing to work hard, stick to the process, have patience, and it will pay off.

Nice company to work for, people very helpful.

The staff is very nice and help you find assignments. Provide tools to learn new skills. I was placed in some nice companies. Learned alot about the companies.

Great Recruiter

Although there was a long time between my interview with he company I wound up with and the start date, my Apex Recruiter was great! Very friendly, gave me feedback and always responded to any questions promptly. Vary good experience, hope to find another contract role with them!

Good for building your project portfolio.

Contract work is beneficial for building your resume and experiences, especially in IT. They partnered with prestigious clients that offer you real work and potential opportunities to become full-time employees. However, they would promise you new employer if you cannot work with your assigned client and pay raise but never fulfilled them. They offered competitive pay but then left you with pennies after subtracting a bunch of taxes and fees on your paycheck.

Harassment

There were several people who were just outright rude to me the entire time I worked here. I have a friend who worked here earlier this year and they had the exact same experience. They don't pay enough and are extremely rude to new employees.They will make you feel like you are messing up no matter what you do. Someone asked me if I even wanted to work there my first week on the floor. My friend was blamed for an issue with the Voip quality. It's not worth the time or discomfort to work around these people.

A Toxic "Coach Out" Mindset and Disregard for Team Members

If this is too long, please just takeaway a fervent recommendation you do not work here. Unfortunately, my time at the company was far from satisfactory, and I believe it is essential to shed light on some significant concerns I encountered during my tenure.One of the most significant drawbacks I experienced while working at Apex Systems was the company's failure to pay industry-standard compensation. It was disheartening to realize that my hard work and dedication were not adequately recognized or rewarded. This lack of fair compensation had a negative impact on my motivation and overall job satisfaction. Additionally, annual reviews were routinely cancelled which were the only opportunity for raises. Furthermore, Apex Systems had a concerning tendency to make sudden policy changes without any prior warning or consultation with team members. This lack of transparency and communication left employees feeling blindsided and disempowered. It created an atmosphere of uncertainty and undermined trust within the team.Additionally, the company constantly increased expectations without providing the necessary support or resources to meet those new demands. This relentless push for higher productivity and results placed an overwhelming burden on the employees. It led to increased stress levels and, ultimately, massive turnover in staff as individuals could not maintain increased productivity. Employees were treated as means to an end. One of the most disappointing aspects of working at Apex Systems was the apparent "coach out" mindset that seemed to prevail within the company -

Great environment for learning but lacks competitive PTO and medical insurance

I love the hybrid of working remotely and onsite.I learn new skills daily, significantly as technologies improve and my ability to write automation scripts improve.The culture at Apex is excellent, although the contracting entity sometimes leaves much to be desired.The most challenging is working extra hours to compensate for the lack of PTO offerings.I enjoy working with others, however, in achieving common goals.

Good contract work when you're starting out

Thankfully, I was hired during COVID so all the work I did was remote. Saved on transportation. But sadly, the contract lasted only a year. And they relocated to Texas so no more contract work.

Great company

I enjoy working for Apex and I would choose to work for them again and again without hesitation. For my sanity sake, once a job causes me too much unnecessary stress, I know it is time to find a new job. I have yet to feel that way about Apex because they know how to treat their employees like people and not just another employee ID number. They do their best to work with you and your scheduling needs because they understand that life is happening to all of us and we all deserve patience and grace. They don't micromanage you because they know and accept that we are adults who are capable of doing our jobs without needing constant surveillance. The contracts pay well and the work is not difficult if you pay attention in training and are good at making informed judgement calls. I recommend everyone I know to apply to Apex because their business model is one that will keep them in the lead for employment services long term due to how they make sure that EVERYONE feels valued regardless of their position in the company.

My overall experience was HORRIBLE if you looking for quick money go for it but some where long term and OT shut it down!

What is the best part of working at the company?Very unorganized, do not offer OT, very unprofessional, contract was suppose to end in July . They told us at the LAST min on a Wednesday that our contract was ending that Friday. Not a good company to work for! **AUTHENTIC** and Supportive Leadership from a company that understands people

I enjoy working for Apex and I would choose to work for them again and again without hesitation. Great Company but has some issues

Everyone is supportive and helpful. If you do well, your contract will get renewed.Pros-Rewards - Very team oriented Cons-The insurance isn't great if you're chronically ill-Lack of communication once you're no longer a part of their team.

Great People and Awesome Culture

I've worked at Apex for almost a year, I love working here. Management is very nice, organized, and caring. I actually enjoy coming to work. we just moved to a Hybrid work environment, at first I was iffy about it, but now I look forward to seeing everybody

Busy and productive

Contact with Amazon for the crc was a great experience. No down time between calls but you do get breaks and a 5 minute window to use for emergency or quick breaks

Terrible

Apex is not a good temp service at all and I will never recommend anyone working here. For one they don’t properly pay you for YOUR hard earn time. Every time I turn around my check is either short or it’s always a “time discrepancy” with my hours. If you’re the employer putting us on these projects shouldn’t eight hours of work already be given to us.!? Two they don’t want to pay for the inconvenience. My work computer would not turn on one day and I reached out to apex with an incident report as well and sent it over they talking about we can’t pay you for the day due to your computer issues. Why would you not pay someone for the day for something they have no control of? Makes absolutely no sense to me. Next they lie about these projects and the job description the project that I had recently been on they told us no phones in the beginning why were on the phones! Also it always something off with my checks!
