I've been with the company for more than 20 years and I really love my job. Alight has great benefits, training, and networking opportunities. I work remote and my manager is amazing and supportive.

Unprofessional workplace

Poor management and very unprofessional! The whole staff is messy and unorganized! They constantly have a high turn over and new employees. I went on the floor untrained. They need all new management.

Job has helped me develop many skillsets and there is work life balance however u have to obtain multiple skills before becoming a senior or getting a raise

Alight Solutions is an Awesome job to work!!!

What is the best part of working at the company?Longevity, Great Colleagues, Supervisors and lead. Great incentives, different experiences and learn different skills within the job. PTO, Sick Time, Holidays off, Floating holidays and also great benefits and 401k. Can grow within the Company and receive good member quotes for your hard work as well.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?When speaking with other reps. The hood times can be a bit much Or getting transferred to different dept.What is the work environment and culture like at the company?The Work environment is Awesome, you have people that likes to help out and teach you great things to make your job easier.What is a typical day like for you at the company?My typical day is pretty much easy but in October is our enrollment period so it can get a bit stressful.

Great environment

Great work environment to be with. Learned great skill which am happy and great ful for. The work place is very good and pay is okay for a start and no Bully’s at work

Bad compensation for volume of work

High volume of work for low pay. Difficult metrics to meet. Typical "we are a family" culture but we need better compensation, not team-building activities.

Productive and good place to start and grow

It has been a delight. Grew from advisor to leader in 9 months. I would say are a lot better now that NGA is with Alight. If you are looking for a place to start and grow, Alight is the best place

Overall good company

Overall the company is a good company to work for, if you go to work and do your job you should have no problems with the company. However, the training is not the best And you have to communicate with colleagues via teams for support. Sometimes you may get a response and sometimes you may not. Also the rules are inconsistent and constantly changing.

Great place to work with ample opportunity to grow

What is the best part of working at the company?Flexible company, great training system and an overall enjoyable job. You really feel the company has the employee’s best interest in mind.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Situations may get complicated and in high volume situations, help might not arrive as fast as one would wantWhat is the work environment and culture like at the company?Cooperative teams and employee’s matter culture.What is a typical day like for you at the company?8 hours of interactions. Some days its back to back some days it’s really chill.

Alight views their employees as an expense

Alight talks about their values, will drill those values into you. One of the values is people matter. They preach that they care about their employees. However in reality you're just an expense. Alight is a publicity traded company so when the board of directors say cut coats, Alight lays people off. This year alone they have gone through 3 rounds of layoffs. Cold and not caring about their people. I strongly advise to stay away from this company.

Toxic company culture

Mmmmmm, let me think...... The overall view, no pros to be found. In addition, it is even horribly paid.Better keep your mouth closed and work. If you say something it can be used against you later, while it was just something normal to ask. Worse phone service to a client ever and everything is being micromanaged.The above cons part should be enough to have thinking active. Use your living hours in life better.

Work overload / overtime expected

It is an ok company. The company was sold to Blackstone which have made lots of unfavorable changes. Lots of layovers recently. There’s constant work overload. I was hired as a hourly employee; a random Friday I was notified my position had been reviewed and I was moved to a salaried position with $100 increase, expected to work minimum 50 hours for 6 months straight. Things have gotten a bit better for sure but overtime is constantly expected and as a result people are overworked and it definitely impacts the culture of the company. If you work hard you can even get promoted but it comes with a cost, you won’t truly have work/life balance. They are now cross training colleagues across products which brings its own set of challenges, specially in busy seasons.

Flexi work with regional exposure

Flexi, work from home, minimal supervision, great exposure in working with diverse backgrounds, countries and projects. The only con is limited benefits, lack of career growth and development.

It was a decent job to work from home. However, It became overwhelming for me because the call volume was really high and i had to deal with a lot of upset participants.

No upward mobility - Low Pay

Good to start or to stay for a minute to build your resume, then move on - quickly. They have a tendency NOT to promote from within, select individuals will be given opportunities, and most come from the outside. Sad to see a lot of knowledgeable people leave.

A stepping stone

It can be hard to find work in Spain and Alight always needs people. If you are willing to put in the effort you can move to other positions preparing you better to move to another place with better pay.

A lot of talk about wellness, no follow through

Really toxic culture that doesn't train employees, but expects them to be experts. No support from management, no one to ask questions of, you're just on your own. If you leave on time, take your lunch break, or try to use your PTO management will hold it against you.

Currently, a customer care representative, transitioning to a different role. CCR role can be easy when it starts but can get very stressful quickly.

Cool place to work, with tons of benefits

What is the best part of working at the company?Great benefits. Managers are easy going when it comes to taking time off, and its great to be able to work remotely. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Not many opportunities for growth.What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Very supportive co workers. The culture is really hard to describe since most of our work is done remotely.What is a typical day like for you at the company?Check emails, meet internally with team, host call with client.
